India boasts of a wide variety of seasons. The richness, flavours and myriad hues of each season is delicately captured on a brilliant canvas of music in Abhishek Ray’s latest album - Ritu. The songs of the album depict various shades of love intertwined with elements of nature like dark monsoon clouds, dry autumn leaves, summer sandstorms etc. Ritu has soul-stirring lyrics written by Nusrat Badr, Manvendra and Abhishek Ray himself. The album has also been arranged and engineered by Abhishek Ray. Live Indian instruments (like sitar, sarod, tabla, sarangi, flutes) blended with drums, bass, afro latin percussion and other international sounds weave magic in the rich uncommon soundtracks. As a bonus, a video is also included in a VCD which has been shot with the majestic backdrop of Neemrana’s breathtaking scenery.
