Prem Kaa Game is a story of love after
marriage. Love outside marriage. It is a textbook for all those married
men who after a brief stint with matrimony begin fantasizing. And
straying, to begin with in their dreams. Prem Kaa Game is a story of
this forbidden Game of Love. Narrated by none other than the eternal
lover boy of the Indian Screen superstar Salman Khan. Who as the
sutradhar (Narrator), of this extra-marital caper, literally foresees
and warns the erring husband of what's in store for him. But as they say
love never looks back. And the ever-ready to slip Prem Sahni President
of Royal Publications, gets a breather from his mundane married life
with Sheetal & daughter Pinky. When he much-knowingly gets besotted
by his newly moved-in neighbour Twinkle Chopra. The hot model from
overseas. Who has often openly professed on her television shows: I
don't believe in marriage? I believe in Love! These words have haunted
Prem Sahni ever since he heard them and when he meets Twinkle in flesh
and blood, his baser senses are rejuvenated. He had heard that perhaps
it was the man thing. Being the faithful life-partner he was, Prem Sahni
refused to initially believe that he was suffering from such a
disorder. After all he was the committed husband & father. The
perfect family man. His upbringing had taught him that love happens only
once. His colleague Ramnik Cheda, who also comes from the same school
of thought, senses something is amiss. The star story-teller Salman Khan
can also foresee the dead-end Prem is headed towards. The fuel to the
fire in Prem's dormant heart is ignited when his wife and daughter take
off for a holiday to Mysore, to meet his in-laws. After its entire
simmer time and the holidays are on. But the heat starts getting to Prem
Sahni the moment his family leaves town. Suddenly he feels a sense of
freedom. And just then there is a knock on the door. And in walks the
most tantalizing chapter in his life. She is Twinkle. His new neighbour.
Prem Sahni cannot believe he had got lucky on the first night itself of
his wife's departure. From here on there seems to be a sudden intrusion
of passions running riot amongst many of the residents of Roop Chand
Rathod's building. Even Roop Chand is not spared from these wicked
outbursts that defy the parameters set by the rules set by the
institution of marriage. At work, Prem Sahni feels guilty at the thought
of perhaps cheating on his wife. Prem's skeleton is soon out of his
cupboard. And hell seems to break loose. Who wins whom and who loses
who... is the final outcome of this cat & mouse game! |
