Love Guru, Prem ( Salman Khan) likes nothing better than helping lonely souls find their soul mates. But he throws in the towel when he meets hopeless case Bhaskar ( Govinda). For this nerdy guy has set his sights high - on no less than beautiful heiress Priya Jaisingh ( Katrina Kaif)

As Prem teaches his worst but most ardent student Bhaskar to woo Priya, he finds himself getting involved with touch-me-not journalist Naina ( Lara Dutta)

Chotta Don ( Rajpal Yadav) and Priya's disapproving dad Raj Jaisingh ( Dalip Tahil), add to the chaos, while Naina's journalistic zeal almost destroys the love setting. But then 'partners' Love Guru and Bhaskar get together and find a way out of the hilarious mess.
