JISM tells the story of Kabir Lal (John Abraham), a restless, reckless and alcoholic lawyer whose steady race towards self-destruction even his close friends are unable to stop. A chance encounter with Sonia Khanna (Bipasha Basu) – a young, sexy and dangerously ambitious wife of a middle-aged industrialist Rohit Khanna (Gulshan Grover) – exposes Kabir to needs, emotions and areas of himself that he never encountered before… including crime.
The sexual chemistry between the couple intensifies with each encounter and blinds them to the point where they decide to get rid of Rohit together. The trouble in paradise begins when the murder plan is executed successfully and Sonia begins to take independent decisions.
Soon, Kabir finds himself a helpless victim at the hands of his conscience, circumstances and Sonia. Legal entanglements, moral apprehensions and mad, destructive passion towards possessing Sonia lead Kabir to his inevitable doom and ironically towards his redemption.

Balraj Kapoor (Amitabh Bachchan) is a rich businessman with progressive modern outlook towards life. For him, family, culture and values are of utmost importance. Shobhna (Hema Malini), his wife is more than just his better half. Together, they dote their only child Avinash (Salman Khan). For Balraj, Avinash is more of a friend than just his son. After spending many years abroad for studies, Avinash returns home to his parents. Their lives light up and there is happiness everywhere.
Avinash then meets the pretty Millie (Rani Mukherjee) who is a painter. They fall in love and get married. They are blessed with a lovely child named Ansh. Rajat (John Abraham) a young musician and the best friend of Millie, had his feelings for Millie but had never revealed it to her. He is now happy for Millie and Avi. He decides to settle in Europe, pursuing his musical career.

Bangkok - a city that promised to give him everything that he ever wanted! Bangkok - a city that took away everything from him that he ever had! So what if Bangkok had a different culture, way of living and off course different food! In the company of Nisha, things always seemed promising. Life took a turn for better when Nisha realized that she was going to give him a baby soon.
But would he be able to see the arrival of the newborn? Because his life was going to be snatched away from him soon! Bizarre incident happens in their lives when Bala find himself locked at a place about which he is not aware of. Neither is this place a prison nor has he been kidnapped. He has been just kept in the confines of a small, dark and a dirty room where he has only link to civilization - an old television set!
What is his crime? Which is this place? Who are his captives? When would he come out?
No one knows this, not even Bala. Because inspite of all his cries to the outside world, no one is willing to respond. He is there - ALL ALONE. And his one and only option in life - WAIT!
