Description

EK JIND EK JAAN charts the life of Rajbabbar (Sukha), who brings up his two brothers and sister and stepmother born two boys Aryan Vaid (Karma ) and Mighty Gill (Channi) and a sister called Parbleen (Guddi). When Sukha was twenty his stepmother too left the world leaving Sukha alone to rear up his siblings. Sukha fulfilled the responsibility with all his sincerity. In the prime of his youth Sukha fell in love with a beautiful girl called Ritu Shivpuri (Gurjit) but withdrew the moment he realized that she was hesitant about accepting his family. The rejection of his sister greatly infuriated her brother Deep Dhillon (Kundan) and the fire of revenge still burns in his heart.
Ten-year-old Karma is very fond of his mate Nagma (Nimmi). One day her father Arun Bakshi (Dhanwant) decides to move to the city for better prospects. Sukha at the time gives his friend fifty thousand of his hard earned money to help him. Also the two vow that they shall marry Karma and Nagma (Nimmi) when the two grow up.

Time goes by.Sukha toils in Ashok Salwan (Chajjumal) fields to bring up and educate his family properly. Yet after his school Karma decides to drop out and help elder brother. Presently Karma works as a Pizza Delivery boy with a multi-national Pizza chain. But he still yearns for his childhood sweetheart Nimmi. When Sukha realizes this he decides to visit Dhanwant in the city. By this time Dhanwant has grown into a big builder and intoxicated with his wealth, he insults Sukha and refuses to marry Nimmi to poor Karma. But Karma is not ready to except the defeat. He goes to the city and realizes that Nimmi has forgotten him but the truth is something else. Nimmi's father has lied to her that Karma has got married and migrated to Canada so that Nimmi may remove him from her heart. But when Nimmi meets Karma she accepts him and revolts against her father. Nimmi and Karma are married. Sukha wins the first round. Sukha has a retired fauji friend Kapoor Singh. Guddi, who now studies in college, has a soft corner for (B.N Sharma)Kapoor Singh son Harbhajan. Nimmi comes to know of her feelings and is instrumental in marrying the two happily.

Sukha is now feeling that his life's mission is getting over. Channi has also become a doctor; he has opened a clinic in his village to serve the people. Sukha is a proud man. His last wish is to marry Channi to Donny Kapoor (Mutto) with whom he had been studying and the two had fallen in love. But when Sukha goes to meet her father, he finds his past blocking his ways. Mutto's father is no one but his old foe Kundan. Kundan holds Sukha responsible for ruining of his sister Gurjit's life and her eventual death.

Simmering with vengeances will Kundan forgive Sukha?
What is the deal Kundan offers Sukha?
Is Sukha able to marry Channi and Mutto?
Does the Sukha family remain united or is blow to smithereens by the winds from the past?
